Dog River Coffee

Worked closely with the business owner to design marketing merchandise for a coffee shop, aimed at attracting both local and visiting customers. Incorporated iconic elements of Hood River while maintaining the coffee shop’s aesthetic, balancing a fun, playful vibe with a cohesive, on-brand look.

final results

The client asked for a custom sticker with a playful illustration that highlights the coffee shop and iconic Hood River landmarks, appealing to both locals and visitors. I used the coffee shop’s signature cup and logo colors to maintain a warm theme, pairing them with an iconic Columbia River Gorge scene.

punchcard project ————

The client asked me to redesign a coffee punch card using their original artwork. I cleaned up the artwork and added my own interpretation, drawing inspiration from vintage letterpress show posters. I used a mix of fonts, icons, and shape to create a simple, sophisticated, and easy-to-read design that still felt true to the brand.

There are seven coffee beans in a row, and the text reads 'GET PUNCHED! whole bean card,' with options to buy nine and get one free. The coffee shop's address and phone number are listed at the bottom.

tote bag project ————

The client asked me to transform a former employee’s Sharpie sketch into a tote bag design. I digitized the original artwork, added typography that matched the drawing’s vibe, and prepared the final file for print with a local screen printing company.

final product

A hand-drawn illustration showing a person standing outdoors with wind blowing at their face, holding a leash attached to a dog that is struggling against the wind. The person looks annoyed or uncomfortable, and a small patch of grass is beneath their feet. There are some grass patches around them, and the caption reads 'Wind Blows.'
